Deleting the ENA: the pitfalls of a reform

Frédéric Thiriez, commissioned by Emmanuel Macron to "put an end to large bodies" and "suppress" the school, is due to report to the Prime Minister this Tuesday morning.

A first report submitted in November by the enarch in charge of this delicate mission, Frédéric Thiriez, after five months of work and 200 hearings, had not been considered innovative enough by Matignon. The Prime Minister gave him a second mission letter at the end of November to complete his report, which is to be released at the end of January. He asked him to assess four areas of "essential" thinking, including the organization of competitions and schooling, parallel competitions, career paths, the creation of an institute of higher education
