Sustainability with the British Royals in a different way: Duchess Kate has been particularly taken with a pair of shoes - and has been for almost two decades.

London - At public appearances, Duchess Kate shines with flawless looks and expensive designer outfits. But it is not wasteful! It has shown itself to be very sustainable and economical again and again with the same accessory - and has been for 16 years.
The Duchess seems to be particularly fond of a pair of leather boots . She has been booting from appointment to appointment in her favorite shoe since 2004. Although she could certainly afford new kickers for every performance, you can always see her in the same look.

The boots have already traveled halfway around the world. For example, she already wore the leather boots on occasions in Northern Ireland and London, but also on a visit to the Buddhist kingdom of Bhutan.

The royal treads are brown leather boots of the "Penelope Chilvers" brand. But the so-called "Tassel Boots" have a proud price - for around 570 euros you can buy the shoes on the website of the designer. The cowhide leather boots are elaborately made in Spain, have a "Goodyear" sole and are characterized by fringed pendants on the shaft.
