Guaidó asks for union and firmness "against the dictatorship"
(CNN Spanish) - The operating permit of the TAP Air Portugal airline in Venezuela was suspended for 90 days for “serious violations of the regulations of the Venezuelan Civil Aeronautics,” Vice President Delcy Rodríguez announced Monday.
The TAP airline has been suspended for ninety days due to serious violations of the regulations of the Venezuelan Civil Aeronautics, without prejudice to the fines and administrative procedures that may take place. Venezuela is respected! https://t.co/yKpUY5o0ac

The alleged violations were detailed in a press conference by the Venezuelan Minister of Transportation, Hipólito Abreu.
According to Abreu, flight TP 173 from Lisbon to Caracas on Tuesday, February 11, presented several irregularities that are being investigated by the National Institute of Civil Aviation of Venezuela.
The minister said that one of the violated regulations is that the names on the passenger list did not match the forms submitted to Venezuelan authorities upon arrival in Caracas.
Specifically, Abreu said that passenger Juan Guaidó traveled under the name of Antonio Márquez.
The president of the Legislature of Venezuela returned to Caracas on that flight of TAP Air Portugal after conducting an international tour to, he said, denounce the Government of Nicolás Maduro and reaffirm the support of the international community to a transition of power in the country. Guaidó is prohibited from leaving Venezuela after the country's justice dictates precautionary measures against him in 2019.
During a press conference on Saturday, Guaidó said he traveled with their names.
“I have several names. Juan Gerardo Antonio Guaidó Márquez, I traveled with my name. That the dictatorship does not like my names, that is something else, ”said the opposition leader.
Abreu also said that the aircraft "had unauthorized materials", without detailing what the materials were or offering evidence of them. The Venezuelan transport minister announced that Civil Aeronautics will denounce the airline before the International Civil Aviation Organization.
For its part, TAP has said that they do not understand the reason for the measure since the legal and security requirements requested by the countries were met. They add that it has been a very serious measure that affects passengers and assures that they were not granted the right to a previous hearing.
