We have always said: debate first. Consistency may displease Jean-Luc Mélenchon, but it is our line and it will remain so, "said Ms. Rabault.

The tweet from the leader of LFI posted on Tuesday and making the PS responsible for this situation made Ms. Rabault jump, who "has not changed his mind " and " is not under Mr. Mélenchon's orders ". " A censure motion is at the end of a process and my group is unanimous on it, " she said, noting that with the rebellious, " on the bottom we agree but we don't have the same strategy . ”

To be able to be tabled, such a motion must gather 58 signatures among the 577 deputies, or at least the three groups on the left. The socialists are the largest contingent with 29 members. Mr. Mélenchon, at the head of a group of 17 deputies, had already proposed a left-wing motion in January, then had reached out to " all the opposition groups ". But Republicans don't want such a motion. Marine Le Pen (RN) hears her “ why not ” sign.

" I will never take a signature from the RN, " warned Ms. Rabault. The PS manager is " not there for political politics " and wants to continue to bring out the problematic points of the reform, as the socialists in committee have already done, in particular on the new indicator necessary to calculate the value of the point of the future pension system. The socialists will also lead a commission of inquiry into the " sincerity " of the impact study accompanying the reform project. Their president has already asked for " the source code of the simulator " for pensions and plans to carry out checks " on the spot and on the spot ".
