Because if you look closely at the Kreillerstraße underground station, you will see the face of Kristina Frank on the right on a three-poster stand - and on the left that of the scandalous FPÖ politician Heinz-Christian Strache from the 2008 election campaign. The former Austrian politician and vice chancellor active for the right-wing populist FPÖ until 2019. And he also campaigned for them in 2008. But how does a Strache poster get on a CSU stand?

Upon request, a spokesman for the Munich CSU announced that the poster stand was from a company. “As a district association, we rented the stands from a poster company. The district association does not have its own, only the local and district associations have their own poster stands. ”And before that, the displays had apparently been used in Austria.

The storm of the past few days may have washed off the CSU poster, and so the old Strache portrait was exposed. So: No new poster trouble for Kristina Frank.
The parties in Munich go very different ways in the election campaign. As reported at the weekend, the CSU, for example, hung up 7,500 posters. The ÖDP has just as many, while the Munich SPD has only distributed 5000 posters in the city. In comparison: The Greens even put up only 2600 posters.
