Schnaittach - A tragedy occurred on Monday afternoon on the A9 in the Nuremberg region . As the police report, a 21-year-old died in a horrific accident. Around 12 p.m., shortly before the Hormersdorf junction , the Munich man got into the back of a truck with his Mercedes. Then the car rustled against the concrete baffle on the left.
Traffic police officers from Bayreuth, who carried out a check near the scene of the accident, immediately gave first aid. An emergency doctor also tried to reanimate the driver at the scene of the accident. In the end, however, all efforts were in vain.

The motorway towards Berlin had to be completely blocked for three hours. The Autobahnmeisterei diverted the traffic at the Hormersdorf junction and was used to clean the carriageway. The full blockage could be lifted again after 3 p.m. The total property damage amounts to approximately 40,000 euros.
