[Kowloon Tong Falling Rails] 17-year-old girl fell off the rails with her feet and knees breaking police fingers

The East Rail Line's Jiulongtang Station was derailed early this morning (20th). A 17-year-old girl was run over by a train arriving at the platform, and her feet were disconnected with her knees. She was still conscious when rescued. The incident occurred at 023: 23 am. After the 17-year-old girl named Lin Lin fell into orbit, a train heading towards Sheung Shui entered the platform. The platform director immediately pressed the emergency stop to stop, but was still unable to catch it. The girl who had fallen over the rails had her knees disconnected. She was breathing and pulsed when rescued and was rushed to the hospital for rescue. The police did not seize a suicide note after investigating the scene, and initially believed that the incident was not suspicious. According to MTR, closed-circuit television footage of the MTR showed the woman victim to jump onto the track by herself.
