In a few weeks, the “Tingel-Tangel” will open a new bar on the Hans-Urmiller-Ring. Gastronomy Sepp Schwarzenbach has come up with a very special concept for this.

Wolfratshausen - a meeting point for everyone, a stage for scene art, retro boxes and modern decoration: this is how the concept of the “Tingel Tangel” can be roughly summarized. The bar in a basement of the tower building on Hans-Urmiller-Ring is the third nightlife project by restaurateur Sepp Schwarzenbach.

Wolfratshausen: New bar on the Hans-Urmiller-Ring

The 29-year-old leads the Zeppelin-Bar within walking distance. After the Tex-Mex bar in the glassworks has closed, the Zeppelin is currently the only meeting point for young people on Friday and Saturday evenings. "I want to create a new contact point for them," says the restaurateur during the tour of the "Tingel Tangel" construction site.

New bar in Wolfratshausen: a new motto every week

Until a few months ago, Schwarzenbach ran a shisha bar here. The "Tingel Tangel" should be completely different. As a rule, the bar should only open on Saturdays - each time under a new motto. In the early evening, according to Schwarzenbach's plan, young musicians - "punkers, rappers, everything that is loud" - could play on a stage. At a later hour, the location turns into a club. "I tailor the parties to the program before," explains Schwarzenbach. Black Music booms after rap appearances from the orange 1990s horn systems. For punk musicians, shrill, loud tones thunder through the basement. If there is no band, gamers and nostalgics can compete, for example, in the cult console game Mario Kart or football fans can watch live games.

Tingel-Tangel in Wolfratshausen: stage "for the wild arts"

When Sepp Schwarzenbach talks about his plans after the official opening on March 13, he twirls his mustache and strokes the brim of his black hat. The 29-year-old is unique. If it is up to him, his guests should also be able to say that about the “Tingel Tangel”. "It should be something special," he says, looking at an elevated wooden platform on which later discarded wings are to serve as standing tables. A helper sticks orange-black wall decoration behind it. A “Tingel Tangel” character with an unusual design hangs diagonally above it - Schwarzenbach designed all of this himself. His long-time friend and event technician Maxi Schmidt helped to make the basement room as flexible as possible. "We want to be prepared for the various events," says Schwarzenbach. Something like that - a stage for young people without cabaret but with louder bass - is missing in the area. A stage "for the wild arts" if you want to.

This is also the reason for the strange-looking name: "Tingel Tangel", an almost dusty word, is derogatory for cheap, dingy dance halls. There is a little wink in the choice of name.

But there is something going on not only in the Wolfratshauser bar scene: numerous shops and cafés will open soon, including the Rathauscafé. By contrast, longstanding institutions in the Wolfratshausen business world are closing. A tour.
