Al-Maliki: The ill-fated deal of the century deprives the Palestinians of their land and sovereignty

Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad al-Maliki stressed that the so-called sinister deal of the century aims to liquidate the Palestinian issue and deprive the Palestinians of their sovereignty over their lands.

Wafa news agency quoted Al-Maliki as saying during his intervention before the members of the Foreign Relations Committee in the European Parliament in the Belgian capital, Brussels today: “The American deal will not bring peace and will not guarantee security and will not bring any solution to the Palestinian issue, indicating that the occupation authorities use everything they can to consolidate their occupation starting from The establishment of settlements and the apartheid wall leading to land annexation.

Al-Maliki pointed out that the occupation of Palestinian land and the policy of siege and incitement of settlers to commit "war crimes" against the Palestinians and protecting them from the occupation soldiers are not the right way to achieve a solution that guarantees stability in the region.

The Palestinian Foreign Minister called on the European Union to use all available means to resolve the issue of the Palestinian people by recognizing its independent and sovereign state on the borders of June 4, 1967, with Jerusalem as its capital, and also to support the holding of an international peace conference to advance this goal.
