Bukele veto decree for Salvadorans to vote abroad

The president of El Salvador, Nayib Bukele, vetoed on Tuesday a decree approved by the Legislative Assembly that would allow Salvadorans abroad to vote in the elections of mayors, deputies of the Legislative Assembly and Central American Parliament. Bukele argues that the voting process designed by the Assembly is cumbersome and almost impossible to exercise.
