Cologne / Munich - Check24 is currently in court in Cologne because of its advertising with the "Nowhere cheap guarantee". The insurer HUK Coburg has sued the comparison portal. The Cologne district court now wants to decide on the lawsuit in two months. At the hearing on Tuesday, the board set the trial date to April 22, a court spokeswoman subsequently announced. The insurance company accuses the internet company of misleading advertising . The argument: There are indeed cheaper offers than at Check 24 . However, the Munich-based online company considers the allegations to be unjustified.

However, the Cologne legal dispute is one of several lawsuits that HUK Coburg has brought against Check24 over the past few years. And some of the lawsuits have already been successful.
