(CNN) - The government of El Salvador incorporated 1,400 soldiers on Tuesday into the security plan called territorial control.
Again, President Nayib Bukele attacked the deputies for the lack of agreement to authorize the Executive a loan for US $ 109 million to finance phase III of the Security Plan.
“We cannot excuse that they do not give us funds. We have to go out and work with or without resources, ”said Bukele, who warned that the deputies will have the response of the voters in the legislative and municipal elections, scheduled for February 2021.
The Government and the Legislature are faced with the contracting of the loan to provide, according to the Executive, with better resources to the Police and the Army to combat crime.

"You have decided to support the people despite the fact that the deputies are scandalized when they see a soldier, but you were not scandalized when gang members entered the Assembly to negotiate the lives of Salvadorans," Bukele said during his speech in front of the soldiers in the historic center of San Salvador.
Bukele refers to the investigations carried out by the Attorney General of El Salvador to establish whether politicians handed over money to the gangs in exchange for electoral support.
Raul Melara, Attorney General asked the deputies on January 27 the lawlessness and prejudice against the deputy and former president Norman Quijano, who has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
In search of the guarantee for the contracting of funds, the president entered the Congress under a strong military and police deployment, which has caused him strong criticism inside and outside the country.
On Sunday, the president's followers concentrated in front of the Assembly with black crosses, representing the victims of violence and gave the deputies a 15-day term to approve the funds.
For their part, legislators have not set a date to continue the discussion of the loan requested by the Executive Branch.
The deputies say they still have doubts about amounts and how the money would be used.
