Another earthquake in Britain: Prince Harry and his wife Megan face another challenge after declaring they are leaving royal life and may lose the right to use the "Duke of Sussex" brand, which has been under test in recent days, across the kingdom on Wednesday.
The couple uses the brand in their shared Instagram account followed by 11.2 million people, and on their official website. Last December, the two applied for a trademark of the Duke of Sussex brand for the charity they set up, according to documents submitted to the UK Intellectual Property Office.
As a result of their decision to leave the royal house and the discontinuance of the royal duties, it was decided that the couple would lose the right to be called any "royal" link. A statement from Buckingham Palace on January 18 stated: "The Saxons will not use their 'royal' titles because they are no longer members of the royal family."
Chris Spina, the royal editor of ITV News, stated that "if the couple refrained from using the label they would have to 'rebrand their entire operation'", adding that "the matter is very sensitive."
