(ANSA) - LA SPEZIA, FEBRUARY 19 - Small maintenance work on the school, from the arrangement of broken benches to the repair of a leaking pipe. The students will take care of this, organized in 'maintenance groups' in the schools of the province of Spain. The initiative comes from the Einaudi-Chiodo professional institute and was accepted by the Province, which did not support the maintenance of the institutes. The one-year convention provides for students to carry out curricular activities, relating to 'paths for transversal skills and orientation' (ex school-work alternation) by participating in routine high school maintenance: aspiring electricians, electronics, plumbers and mechanics will be involved "It is a formative experience and the children will be able to make use of it by solving problems" said the school director Paolo Manfredini presenting the initiative in the presence of the president of the Province Pierluigi Peracchini and Roberto Peccenini, coordinator of the school office of La Spezia.
