Solidarity action with China against the Corona virus

Participants in the solidarity event with the People's Republic of China "Together against the Corona Virus" held by the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce in cooperation with the Syrian-Chinese Business Council in the Sheraton Hotel in Damascus this evening, stood by the friendly China in its efforts to besiege and eliminate the virus.

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Dr. Faisal Al-Miqdad, affirmed that Syria stands by China in confronting, besieging and eliminating the Corona virus, stating that the friendship that binds the two countries and the standing of China alongside Syria are always sufficient reason for all Syrians to falter to express their solidarity with this friendly country.

Al-Miqdad considered that exceptional efforts by China to besiege this disease and not spread it is a confrontation of this disaster on behalf of the world with wisdom and courage, and it is appreciated and admired by any cheap political investment for this ordeal that China is going through.

For his part, Deputy Minister of Health Dr. Ahmed Khelifaoui considered that this event reflects the true image of Syria and the relationship of friendship and love between the two friendly peoples, noting the great efforts and steps taken by China to surround the disease, raise health awareness and treat the injured.

And Dr. Khelifaoui said that Syria has taken a number of measures in this field by raising the availability in the border crossings by providing it with a medical staff equipped with the necessary equipment to isolate the suspected cases, follow up on the cases of arrivals, and find out any developments in their health status.

For his part, President of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce Muhammad Ghassan Al-Qalaa considered that China is fighting the fiercest scientific battles and today is making positive progress to besiege and eliminate this disease thanks to the efforts and perseverance of its scientists and cadres, expressing full confidence in China's ability to go beyond what it is going through.

For his part, Samer Al-Debs, head of the Damascus Chamber of Industry and its countryside, said that this event is an opportunity for Syrian industrialists and businessmen to express their solidarity with China and their support for efforts to contain this disease.

In turn, the Executive Director of the Syrian-Chinese Business Council, Osama Mustafa, expressed the solidarity of the Syrian business community and its sympathy with China, expressing hope for the complete elimination of this disease and overcoming this great challenge.

For his part, the Chinese ambassador in Damascus, Phuong Piao expressed his thanks and appreciation for the standing of the people, government and leadership of Syria alongside China and solidarity with it to combat the virus, stressing that these positions push relations to further consolidation and cooperation, pointing to the measures taken by the Chinese government to surround and absorb all confirmed cases, noting the decrease in cases Confirmed and the number of serious cases decreased and a large number of injured recovered.
