Sold out! When Charlie the Gallo, a former Parisian whom nothing predestined in the agricultural world, was crowned in 2014 with the prestigious gold medal of the Concours Général Agricole, for his walnut oil produced in his Perigord mill in Maneyrol, success was been dazzling. A button and a television report later, his stand at the Agricultural Show, which hosts the event, was robbed in less than two hours. A consecration for this recently converted thirty-something, and for his mill bought 18 months earlier. The reward is remarkable to say the least. Because trained on the job, it was only his second production. However original it may be, Charlie's journey is only one of the hundreds of beautiful stories revealed by the famous competition held each year at the Porte de Versailles, in Paris.
