Upon returning to the land of Damon Princess ship passengers, which has become the Corona Ship for the past two weeks, their tefillin will be placed in isolation at Sheba Hospital. To combat the risk of infection, the Ministry of Health has assumed that all passengers' personal belongings will undergo massive disinfection. Meanwhile, travelers were asked not to use the items, including their tefillin.
The religious passengers on board found themselves in trouble, as they could not put on tefillin. Members of their families contacted Meir Maimon, chairman of the Torah Judaism Party in the city of Eilat, where the travelers reside, who, together with the city's religious council, sent Tefillin news to travelers for their use.

Fortunately, shipwreckers can now disinfect infectious tefillin, but in the past it was necessary to burn items, including tefillin, of people with infectious diseases. Jewish sources are confronted with the question of the fire, since tefillin is not allowed to burn on the one hand, but there is a matter of saving lives and mind control on the other. An entire discussion was devoted to the Torah literature as to whether Tefillin is allowed to be placed in a patient who is in isolation, in order not to create a situation where they will have to burn Tefillin afterwards.
Another case in which the question arose about what to do with tefillin of Jews who were in solitary confinement was at the leper hospital in the city of Jerusalem. The disinfectant did not yet exist, but Rabbi Aryeh Levin, the leper's rabbi, did not want the tefillin to burn. A well-known story tells that the rabbi went to a flower shop in the middle of a funeral and bought flowers in a porcelain vase. A few days later, he was asked why he did it in the middle of a funeral and answered that a Jewish leper had died, and when he asked what could be done to prevent the burning of tefillin, they answered that they should be buried in a pottery. He had to bring a pottery to a specific hour. To prevent the burning of infectious tefillin, Rabbi Aryeh Levin entered the middle of the funeral and bought a pottery vase to save the tefillin and their proper burial.
