In statements to reporters, Minister of Water Resources, Eng. Hussein Arnous, stressed the need to restore services within the capabilities available to enable citizens to return to their villages and provide facilities for the industrial, tourism and agricultural sectors to revitalize the liberated areas.
In turn, the Minister of Agriculture, Eng. Ahmed Al-Qadiri, stated that the Ministry is working on conducting a survey of lands liberated by the Syrian Arab Army south of Aleppo and developing a program with the aim of securing support for farmers to restore agricultural work and the production process as it was in the past, pointing out the importance of the return of the ICARDA Center due to its positive role and its contribution to cooperation With the National Program for Agriculture in the development of the agricultural sector.
Minister of Local Administration and Environment Hussein Makhlouf indicated that the technical workshops began work to open roads, remove mounds and rehabilitate roads and roads, pointing out that government support for Aleppo in the services sector amounted to two and a half billion Syrian pounds since the beginning of the year until now, and included a number of service and development projects.
The Minister of Electricity, Engineer Zuhair Kharbutli, for his part, pointed out that the damages amounted to 12 billion Syrian pounds in the stations of "ICARDA" and Zurba, indicating that the Ministry's workshops are currently installing a transformer with a capacity of 30 megawatts, at a value of 3 billion pounds, and feeding it with electricity soon, with the aim of delivering electricity to the Zurba region and reviving The wheel of the economy.
Minister Kharbutli indicated that the Ministry has set a timetable to restore the station as it was before and secure electricity for the Zerba transformer station, 66-230-66kv by securing the 230kv power line, and then securing electricity to ICARDA, which has a capacity of 30 MW, where it will be rehabilitated. Four medium electrical outlets to start from ICARDA station and feed the industrial facilities in the Al-Zorba area.
Eng. Muhammad Moan Zain Al-Abidin, Minister of Industry, Eng. Ghatba said that work is being done to grant the necessary facilities to the industrialists and support them to take back the wheel of production, noting the importance of the textile and engineering industries and industries in Aleppo.
