A couple from the Bavarian town of Wasserburg caused a stir on Wednesday evening (February 20, 2020) in the Pro Sieben Show . In the show “ The Thing of the Year ” the Bavarian invention was not only able to inspire the audience.

As reported by rosenheim24.de * , Christoph Klever (35) and his wife Klever-Belizario (32) from Wasserburg am Inn researched, experimented and tried things out on a so-called " follow-up ". They made their big appearance on the pro-seven show " The Thing of the Year " - and immediately impressed with their plastic film pouch.

Chrostoph Kleber and Edna Kleber-Belizario were able to convince the jury of experts around Lena Gercke , Joko Winterscheidt and Hans-Jürgen-Moog straight away. “Our material does not actually consist of petroleum, but is obtained from wood chips. If the bag should get into water, there is no danger. The material becomes soft in a few seconds and can easily be eaten by animals such as fish or humans. It decomposes in the water and in the stomach, ” inventor Kleber explains to the amazed jury. An invention that environmental activist Greta Thunberg is sure to be pleased about. After all, the invention seems to be entirely in the name of a sustainable environment.

For jury member Lena Gercke, who also does sports while pregnant *, the invention was indeed what humanity needs at the moment. “We are at the beginning of the 21st century. Humanity suffocates in the garbage. Almost all packaging today is made of plastic.
