Corona spread: Inspectors began to enforce isolation orders for returnees from the East
Editing: Nir ChenThe Ministry of Health began Thursday to enforce a home isolation order for returnees from eastern states for fear of the spread of the Corona virus. The Ministry of Health has made it clear that a breach of a home isolation order could amount to a criminal charge that results in up to seven years in prison if done in a hurry and up to three years in prison if done negligently.
He said he "sees the public as being required to isolate a full partner home to prevent the outbreak of the disease in Israel. We are convinced that they will show responsibility to their family, friends, and to sick and weak people in society and reduce the risk of infection."

Earlier, a plan was issued by the Ministry of Health to examine Israelis suspected of being blue-blooded in Corona in a way that would not endanger the public from leaving the hospital for isolation. According to the program, first published in Walla! NEWS, citizens from eastern countries, sent to a two-week isolation in their homes and who are not feeling well - can call a special hotline set up in Magen David Adom to report their situation, and paramedics will come to their home to collect a sputum test that will be tested in an infectious disease research laboratory at Sheba Tel Hashomer.
Then, if they are found to be infected with the virus and their condition has worsened to the point of hospitalization, they will be evacuated for isolation by ambulance and protected personnel to one of the isolation complexes erected for this purpose. There they will stay until the end of their treatment. On Sunday, the Ministry of Health is expected to make a final decision on the plan.
