The new coronavirus epidemic has killed 115 more in Hubei province, bringing the total number of deaths in mainland China to 2,233, local health officials said on Friday.

Most of the deaths were recorded in Wuhan, the capital of this central China province where the epidemic started in December, according to the daily count of the Hubei Health Commission.
