Gasoline bomb transporter filed with Kwai Chung Police Station refused bail

The young transporter was arrested and charged with one count of arson at the Kwai Chung Police Station late last month. The transporter was refused bail when he appeared in the magistrate's court earlier this month. He applied to the High Court today (20th), but the bail was still refused and he needs to continue to be remanded in custody.

The defendant, Chen Junhui (17 years old), reported that he was a transporter. He was charged with damaging the Kwai Chung Police Station with fire at Kwai Chung Police Station near the entrance of the car park on January 29 this year. The case is scheduled to be reopened at the West Kowloon Magistracy on April 3, pending further investigations by the police.
