Moscow-Sana
Russian President Vladimir Putin reiterated the need to confront the terrorist threat and preserve Syria's unity and sovereignty.
The Kremlin said in a statement transmitted by the "Russia Today Website" that Putin indicated during a phone call today with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Emmanuel Macron the need to "neutralize the terrorist threat in light of respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Syrian Arab Republic."
The Russian Ministry of Defense had called earlier today for the Turkish regime to stop supporting terrorists in Idlib Governorate and provide them with weapons.
On the other hand, the Kremlin indicated that the leaders of the three countries called for the full implementation of the ceasefire in Libya and the resumption of political dialogue in the context of the decisions of the Berlin Conference on Libya.
