Several other members of the entourage, more or less close, of Donald Trump have been indicted or already condemned in the wake of the investigation by Robert Mueller.

Michael Cohen is already behind bars. The office and the home of the ex-lawyer of Donald Trump were searched in April 2018. He will receive three years in prison. Michael Flynn is the only White House alumnus to be prosecuted. He briefly held the post of National Security Advisor - twenty-two days to be precise - before being swept away by the Russian affair. Retired General Michael Flynn pleaded guilty in December 2017 to lying to the FBI about his contacts with Russian Ambassador Sergei Kislyak during the transition from Barack Obama to Donald Trump. The accused last month sought to withdraw his agreement and postpone the hearing. To do this, he must obtain the consent of the judge. Under the agreement, the general faces a maximum sentence of six months in prison in exchange for his cooperation in the investigation. When lying to the FBI is an offense punishable by up to five years in prison. The sentencing was delayed until the end of the month.

Paul Manafort was sentenced to a total of seven and a half years in prison by the federal courts for tax fraud and bank fraud. He had hidden tens of millions of dollars in commissions from Ukraine from the taxman. He has since escaped another 25 years of incarceration in New York court. He can still hope for a possible presidential pardon. In the meantime, the inmate is serving his sentence in a Pennsylvania prison.

Rick Gates' testimony has a lot to do with Paul Manafort's conviction. He worked for the latter from 2006 to 2016 and was the assistant campaign director for Donald Trump. This allowed him to attract the leniency of the judge. He was sentenced in December to 45 days in prison and three years probation for conspiracy against the United States and false testimony. He even obtained from the judge the possibility of serving his sentence only on weekends. He was accused of lying to the investigators. He also had to answer for embezzlement committed with his former partner. If he had not decided to cooperate with the justice system, he risked "between 50 and 100 years in prison," he admitted when he was interviewed against his ex-partner. Dutchman Alex van der Zwaan worked closely with Paul Manafort and Rick Gates. Finally, George Papadopoulos is the one through whom all the scandal happened.
