Only two blue chips rose. HSBC Holdings (0005) rose 0.18%; Geely (0175) rose 0.13%.

Ping An Insurance (2318) 's worse-than-expected performance, the stock price fell 0.7%; Tencent (0700) fell 1.2%; China Construction Bank (0939) fell 0.3%; Hong Kong Stock Exchange (0388) fell 1%.
