A "Fengwei" spokesperson responded to "Hong Kong 01" inquiries and stated that the purpose of closing the flagship store in Central was to take advantage of the opportunity to reorganize Hong Kong's future strategy when there is a major change in the Hong Kong retail market.

Hope to open another store in Hong Kong
The spokesman pointed out that, like other peers, the company has different strategies to deal with the current market conditions, and the "Fengwei" main market has always been the entire Greater China region, including China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau. Fengwei products have also begun to enter Southeast Asia, so Hong Kong is only one of the markets targeted by Fengwei.
In terms of staffing arrangements, the company stated that employees would be automatically lost and transferred to other departments under different circumstances, and that it hoped to open a flagship store in Hong Kong in the future and continue to develop the Greater China market.
