Wuhan residents say they feel trapped by the contagion of coronavirus 3:30
(CNN Spanish) - How did the coronavirus begin? How has it spread throughout the world? Since the first case was reported in 2019 to the World Health Organization (WHO) in Wuhan, China, the virus has claimed the lives of more than 2,100 people and confirmed cases exceed 75,740. The coronavirus has spread to 29 places outside of China.
The coronavirus, called COVID-19 by WHO, is a cousin of the also deadly SARS virus.

Coronaviruses are a large group of viruses common among animals. These can affect people, usually with a mild or moderate disease of the upper respiratory tract, similar to a common cold. Coronavirus symptoms include a runny nose, cough, sore throat, possibly headache and perhaps fever, which can last a couple of days.

December 31, 2019
The first cases of pneumonia detected in Wuhan are reported to the WHO. During this period, the virus is still unknown. Cases occur between December 12 and 29, according to Wuhan health authorities.
