Photo: Israeli Police spokeswoman, Editor: Amit SimchaA Hurah resident in the Negev was arrested on suspicion of young murder and attempted murder during a brawl in the community last month - this was allowed for publication today (Friday). Investigators from the Central Unit (Yafar) Negev and the Township Police deciphered the murder, during which the young man was shot dead and more people injured.
On January 11, around 3 p.m., a mass brawl erupted accompanied by a shooting in neighborhood 10 in the locality. Police forces were called to the scene where there was a suspicion of shooting and located vehicles damaged as a result of a collision. Two injured persons were evacuated for medical treatment, and the death of one was subsequently determined.

The Negev District Commander, Sub-Superintendent Yair Hatzroni, conducted the investigation on the Negev Chairman, and as it progressed, the identities of other suspected residents of Hura became known. The investigation revealed that the main suspect met the young man, collided with him and fired at him and in the direction of another person. He then fled the scene.
Commander of the Negev, Deputy Superintendent Ethan Amar, said: "The suspect was arrested several days after the incident. His arrest has been extended from time to time for suspicion of murder and attempted murder of another. The case was forwarded to the Southern District Attorney's Office for a decision. "
