Death of a child in Marseille: the mother and her companion incarcerated

Judicial information was opened Thursday against the companion of the mother of the child, born in 1994, of the head of “ voluntary homicide on minor ” and “ acts of torture and barbarism by ascendant or person having authority ” . The mother, in her twenties, was also indicted for " acts of torture and barbarism " by ascendant or person in authority. According to a source close to the investigation, the mother admitted having witnessed the beatings and said that she herself was the victim of violence. The family had recently arrived from Spain.
