A 35-year-old man suspected of having raped a sixty-something woman at the threat of a knife in Saran (Loiret), was charged on Friday and placed under judicial supervision, we learned from the public prosecutor's office in Orleans.
The woman, in her sixties, said she was raped under the threat of a knife, in the middle of the street, on the night of Wednesday to Thursday in Saran, while she was returning home to foot.

A 35-year-old man, who denies the facts, was arrested with a knife a few minutes later. He was charged with rape at gunpoint and aggravated sexual assault, and placed under judicial supervision.
Justice believes that he could be the author of an attempted sexual assault on a young woman on February 12, in Fleury-les-Aubrais (Loiret).
