From the office window, you can contemplate the majestic Place Stanislas where the statue of the Duke of Lorraine stands. In the distance, stands the Saint-Epvre basilica and the government palace, the jewels of Nancy. Laurent Hénart never tires of his work environment. In 2014, he succeeded André Rossinot. This figure of radicalism, however, retained the presidency of the metropolis, endowed with important powers. "When you inherit historic monuments, you do not inherit much," admits the man who will leave office on the eve of his 81 years. "Laurent Hénart's first mandate begins now," says a running mate while the city councilor talks about his program with residents gathered in a popular bar.
