Frédéric Hoquard, deputy mayor, unveiled this Friday the measures desired by the candidate to strengthen the nightlife and provide

Picnic in the evening on the banks of the Seine. Late aperitifs on the cafe terraces. Breath of fresh air in parks and gardens open at night in summer. Sports facilities open later in the evening ... Parisian nights are festive but also noisy, much to the dismay of residents.

This is why the proposals of Anne Hidalgo, unveiled this Friday evening in an 11th century cafe by Frédéric Hoquard, deputy in charge of the night, and Audrey Pulvar, spokesperson for the Paris en Commun movement, aim both to enrich the offer at night but also to limit the consequences on the neighborhood.

End the lighting of the windows

The outgoing mayor (PS), candidate for his re-election, promises to establish a "Night Code" relating in particular to the reduction of risks linked to alcohol and drugs, nuisance in terms of noise and cleanliness.

The installation of sound sensors near places of night is also envisaged to avoid establishments from being exposed to an administrative closure.

The candidate also proposes to create rehearsal and performance places open until midnight, especially at the gates of Paris and around the ring road.

Among other promises, Anne Hidalgo wishes to create a fund to preserve and if necessary renovate bookstores, concert or concert halls, cinemas, theaters and other cultural places. She wants to open Parisian libraries and museums at least two evenings a week.
