The bus drove past Buckingham Palace several times on Friday. A large poster was emblazoned on the vehicle. It showed the face of Prince Andrew, the Queen's son. It was also written in capital letters: "If you see this man, ask him to call the FBI to answer questions." The 60-year-old Royal is said to be involved in the abuse scandal involving the US multimillionaire Jeffrey Epstein. Behind the action is the American lawyer Gloria Allred , who represents several women in the scandal.

Epstein committed suicide in his New York cell last year. The American was accused of having abused numerous underage girls for years and forced them into prostitution . Prince Andrew stayed several times in Epstein's estate in the United States and the Caribbean. The 60-year-old does not want to have heard of his friend's machinations. One of the victims, Virginia Giuffre , accuses the Duke of York of abusing her.
Prince Andrew involved in scandal? Royal denies allegations
She said that she had been forced to have sex with Prince Andrew three times. In two cases, she was only 17 years old. The Queen's son denies this and rejects the allegations. He doesn't want to be able to remember the woman. One of the incidents is said to have occurred in London in March 2001 in the house of the then Epstein partner Ghislaine Maxwell . "It was disgusting," Giuffre said in an interview.
In the United States, lawyers and investigators are getting impatient. Andrew had announced in November that he wanted to help the American judiciary clear up the allegations against Epstein and possible accomplices. But apparently this never happened.
