Given winner in the first round with 61% of the votes in an Ifop / Fiducial poll published by Midi libre , the outgoing mayor of Béziers believes that the key to his success is to play public opinion against the parties, National Rally as well as Les republicans. But he recognizes that the recipe is difficult to transpose to the national level.
