He is a man who does not hesitate to "say things in the face". "Big mouth" assumed, this farmer well in his time spends as much time on social networks as in the family farm of Pécy (Seine-et-Marne) where, installed since 2016, he cultivates, on 145 hectares, wheat, barley, corn but also beets. Marked by the strong personality of his grandfather and the union experience of his parents "who made him want to live from working the land", Samuel Vandaele first passed a BTS in analysis and management of operating systems before working for others "to discover the real life and the real difficulties of the profession" . Spotted in the many demonstrations in which he participated to defend the peasant cause in Seine-et-Marne, he climbed one by one the steps of local, regional and then national agricultural unionism.
