The group announced its collaboration with Chris Como for the training of its teachers throughout the year 2020.

On the sidelines of a press conference of the Duval group, held Wednesday at the Ritz in Paris, UGolf, subsidiary of the group and number one in golf in France (more than 30,000 subscribers and the management of 56 golf courses), announced that it has signed an exclusive collaboration with Chris Como, last official coach of Tiger Woods. "We are proud to be able to collaborate with a world-renowned coach," welcomes Pierre-André Uhlen, its managing director. Being able to exchange and share with Chris Como will be a real highlight for our teachers this year. Our objective is that they are trained in excellence by new technologies (trackman, force plates). The more you understand how they work, the easier it is to transmit. A high-level coach can also speak to beginners. The challenge is to retain beginners, in addition to training our best young people. ”

Como in video conferences

Fabien Donoyan, director of the Ugolf Academy develops: “For the past year, we have been calling on Laurent Cabanes (head pro at Kempferhof golf) for the training of all our pros. Education is evolving. I traveled with him. It turns out that he has known Como for a long time. The latter was immediately interested. Como is the benchmark in biomechanics. This greatly simplifies the progress of the golfer. He will intervene interactively throughout the year. There will be four 1.5 hour sessions. He will be in the United States on video conference with simultaneous translations with all the UGolf pros. And he could also come to France during the year. ” With more than 20,000 golfers initiated each year, 2,500 children in golf schools and 90 salaried instructors, the Ugolf Academy announces that it is the first creator of licenses in France.
