Damascus Governorate: Opening roads for the movement of cars from the Mouwasat Roundabout towards the customs and the right of the Carlton Tunnel

Damascus Governorate announced today that all of the road from the Mouwasat Hospital roundabout towards the Customs Square and the road to the right of the Carlton Tunnel have been reopened in front of vehicle traffic.

The director of Traffic and Transportation Engineering in the governorate of Damascus, Engineer Yasser Bastouni, said in a statement to the delegate of Sana that the (Ramp) has been opened towards the Umayyad Square in front of the cars coming from Al-Mowasat Roundabout also, pointing to the continuation of the service workshops in removing the remaining concrete blocks and cleaning the road from the soil and rehabilitating the fair.

The governorate also worked, according to Spades, to remove the concrete blocks in the Carlton roundabout, which were seizing a traffic lane from it, and returned the traffic to its previous nature, indicating that the road was opened to the right of the Carlton tunnel in front of the traffic of cars coming through the April 17 road towards the mentioned roundabout.
