The meeting of Eng. Imad Khamis, the Prime Minister, with the executive office of the governorate of Aleppo and those in charge of the governorate council today dealt with the role assigned to the local councils in the reconstruction and follow-up of the reality of projects and overcoming difficulties in their implementation and returning the development structure of the province to what it was before the terrorist war and exceeding its negative effects.
Eng. Khamis called for activating the role of the administrative units by setting up private investments, providing incentives to industrialists and businessmen, and directing them towards investment citizens and employing resources to improve services for citizens.
Discussions focused on local development, expanding the investment base for these units, and seeing the local development councils to study and approve what is needed in this regard.
Engineer Khamis pointed out that the electrical supply allocated to Aleppo was increased after the completion of the repair of the Zirba-Aleppo high-tension 400 kV line and put it into service, stressing the need for a gradual rehabilitation of transformers and electrical networks.
The Electric Power Transmission Corporation was also asked to rehabilitate the system of feeding lines and strengthen the electrical network and request the Distribution Corporation to deliver the available energy to the countryside and the city in a fair and balanced manner, stressing the cancellation of exceptions to legalization of non-hospitals, and attention was drawn to the need to follow-up the collection and treatment of accumulations in it and the illegal exploitation of energy electrical .
The visit was attended by the Ministers of Health and the Interior and the Secretary General of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.
