The air defenses of the Yemeni army and the popular committees today confronted the flights of the Saudi aggression coalition east of Sanaa governorate.
Al-Masirah Net website quoted Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman Brigadier Yahya Sari as saying on Twitter that “the air defenses of the army and the popular committees responded to the formation of hostile combat from the warplanes of the Saudi aggression coalition with a number of Fateer 1 missiles in the Nahham district,” explaining that the enemy aircraft were forced to leave Yemeni airspace before carrying out any hostile missions east of the capital, Sanaa.
The spokesman of the Yemeni armed forces, Brigadier General Yahya Sari, recently announced the downing of a Tornado warplane belonging to the Saudi aggression alliance in the Al-Jawf governorate in the northeast of the country.
