The Diamond Princess cruise ship in Yokohama, Japan, carried 3,700 passengers, including more than 300 Hong Kong people. Hundreds of passengers on board were diagnosed with the new coronavirus (Wuhan pneumonia) locally, including at least dozens of Hong Kong people. The Hong Kong government sent charter flights to pick up Hong Kong people and return to Hong Kong. However, some Hong Kong people left after leaving the boat and then returned to Hong Kong by taking an ANA flight.

Whether returning to Hong Kong by charter flight or not, all arriving people will be sent to Fotan Junyang Village for medical observation and quarantine for 14 days. The earliest group of people arrived in Hongyang in the morning on the 20th of this month to check into Junyang Village. The next day, some people developed symptoms. Case 1 ﹕ At 6 pm on February 21, the 9-year-old boy who returned to Hong Kong on the first charter flight had a fever and was escorted to the Prince of Wales Hospital with his mother. The initial test result was negative

The second case : At 11 am on February 22, a 68-year-old man who arrived in Hong Kong on a chartered plane had a fever and was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he was confirmed the next day . It is reported that the man returned to Hong Kong on the second charter flight, but his relatives and friends revealed to Hong Kong 01 that the man arrived on the first charter flight.

Case 3 : At about 3 pm on February 22, an old man boarded an ambulance and was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for examination.

Case 4: At 12 pm on February 23, an ambulance sent a man to Renji Hospital for examination. The source reported that the man fell down by himself, and the ambulancemen wore a full set of protective clothing to help him to the hospital.
