Jean-Michel Blanquer certified this Sunday on “BFM Politics”, in partnership with our newspaper, that the government “never wanted to use 49-3. Even today, we do not wish to use it. But we have people who are trying to sabotage a debate and who afterwards will complain about the consequences of the sabotage they have done ”.
For the Minister of Education, "the government has had an open posture from the start, but if they continue to obstruct, we will respond with 49.3, which is a constitutional means of getting things done", accusing squarely the rebellious and the PCF, to be "enemies of parliamentary democracy" and whose objective is to give a "fascistoid" image of the majority.
In negotiation with teacher unions
Jean-Michel Blanquer, who is currently negotiating with the teachers' unions to compensate for their loss of income linked to the pension reform, has also announced 100 euros more net each month for teachers at the start of their careers. The discussions with the unions, which began in January, should lead before the summer to a law for programming salary increases. "We will make a particularly important catch-up for early career and mid-career," said the minister on BFMTV on Sunday.
