79 new cases of corona virus infection and two deaths from infection were reported last Saturday in Italy, the European country where the new corona virus hit most powerfully. It is reported that none of the virus infected in Italy has visited China recently. Apart from Italy, Iran and South Korea also seem to be battling a powerful outbreak of the Corona virus, with what appears to be the most significant contagion in the virus outside China.

Following what appears to be a loss of control over the outbreak of the virus in the country, the Italian government has approved a number of radical measures aimed at curbing the spread of the virus. In fact, the government in the state has decided to impose a closure on the northern areas: Lombardy and Vento, where authorities have asked about 50,000 residents to stay in their homes to prevent the spread of the virus.

Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte announced a closure in the Corona-infected areas in the country, stressing that leaving these areas would be prohibited unless special permission was given for this. Following the closure, authorities announced that many changes would occur and many cancellations were expected to occur today. Sports events including football games have been canceled, schools, universities and kindergartens will not open and cops have been deployed in areas that are prone to calamities, to ensure that residents do and follow the guidelines.

Lombardy and Vento are two areas defined as Italy's industrial zone and together they make up about 30 percent of the country's total domestic production. Companies operating in the northern areas of the country where the closure was imposed, such as Ray Ban and Unicredit Bank, have notified their employees not to go to work and stay in homes.

The first victim of the Corona virus in Italy was a 76-year-old woman found in a box in her apartment, located about 50 miles south of Milan on Thursday and found to be the carrier of the Corona virus. The other victim, a 78-year-old from the city of Padua who died as a result of a hospital infection Friday night. The 78-year-old reportedly was hospitalized two weeks ago, and the corona virus was also found.

Along with Italy, two other countries that also seem to have the outbreak of the Corona virus are out of control, both Iran and South Korea. Authorities in South Korea reported two deaths and 123 new cases of the Corona virus this morning, bringing the country's death toll to four and the country's total infestation to 556 people. In Iran, like Italy, steps were taken to prevent the outbreak of disease in preventive measures including the closure of schools, universities, cultural centers in 14 provinces across the state, as five people died as a result of the virus while 28 other people were found to be the viruses.

Meanwhile, in China, this morning they reported another reduction in the number of infections at the Hubei Province outbreak, reported to have implications for the World Health Organization, as there are other areas where there is an outbreak of the infectious virus. China's authorities reported 648 new cases of infection this morning, higher than Saturday, but only 18 cases of which occurred outside the Hubei province of China's outbreak of virus - the lowest figure since China's authorities began publishing the data about a month ago.
