According to a survey carried out by Ifop for the 30 Million Friends Foundation, almost six in ten French people say they are concerned by the measures announced by a candidate in favor of the animal cause.

On the eve of municipal elections, campaign posters with cats or dogs are blooming all over France. The candidates do not hesitate to display themselves with their pet animals, like the cats of Marine Le Pen during the 2017 presidential campaign. In 2020, doubt is no longer allowed, the animal cause has become an issue electoral. This theme spreads its ideas from one end of the political spectrum to the other with the more pragmatic aim of attracting as many voters as possible.
