The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the continuation of the Israeli occupation for its crimes against the Palestinians, stressing that the silence of the international community encourages the occupation to persist in its violations and implement its colonial plans.

The Foreign Ministry said in a statement today quoted by Wafa News Agency that the martyrdom of a Palestinian youth earlier in the bullets of the Israeli occupation forces east of Khan Yunis in the besieged southern Gaza Strip and the abuse of his body is a war crime and a clear disregard for international legitimacy and its decisions.

The Foreign Ministry called on the international community and the International Criminal Court to shoulder their responsibilities and work to hold the Israeli officials who insist on committing war crimes against Palestinians to account.

The occupying forces opened fire with automatic weapons at a group of Palestinian youths, east of Khan Yunis, today, which resulted in the death of one of them and the injury of three others, after which they would abuse the body of the martyr.

In turn, the Palestinian resistance factions affirmed that the crimes of the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people, especially against the martyr Muhammad Ali Al-Naem, 27, and the abuse of his body is a war crime that adds to the crimes of the occupation against the Palestinians, stressing the continuation of the struggle, ending the occupation and establishing an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.

As part of its response to the crimes of the occupation, especially in Khan Yunis, the Palestinian resistance announced the launch of 20 rockets at Israeli settlements.
