A 22-year-old boy was stabbed last night outside a nightclub in the eastern part of Salerno. The victim, from Salerno, was hit with two blows, one in the leg and another in the abdomen, following a dispute that probably arose for futile reasons. Relief from the health workers of Humanitas and Croce Bianca, he was transported in red code to the Salerno hospital where he underwent surgery. The prognosis is confidential but the young person should not be life threatening.
The identity of the attacker is still unknown. The investigations were entrusted to the agents of the Mobile Squad, led by the deputy commissioner Marcello Castello. The policemen have listened to some witnesses and are examining the images of the video surveillance cameras present outside the premises.
