Acting State Attorney Dan Eldad responded to the solicitation of attorneys Yuval Yoaz and Ehud Shapek regarding their demand to elaborate on why he has now decided to open a criminal investigation into the fifth dimension. The two also filed the petition with the High Court on this issue.

At the beginning of the letter, Eldad wrote that he rejects all the arguments for political considerations that were behind the timing of the investigation. "The decision on the matter came after examining the matter on their own, and was based on the attorneys' relevant positions.
