Cars on the A7 are on fire - the motorway near Staufenberg was closed

A car caught fire on the A7. The Staufenberg fire brigade is on duty and can extinguish the car. Stagnant traffic due to cleanup.

As the Staufenberg fire brigade reports, a car burned on the A7 shortly before the Werra Valley bridge near Staufenberg on Monday morning (24.02.2020). The highway was blocked from Lutterberg to the north. Two of the three tracks are released again, but delays may still occur due to the cleanup work. The fire brigade was deployed with approximately fifteen emergency services.
