The dentist's body was found tied up inside a tarp, including tight ties at the neck, Monday, February 17. Her autopsy revealed signs of asphyxiation and a deep wound on the wrist, causing significant bleeding.

“The gendarmes took an interest in the suspect, who lives in Villejust (Essonne). They established that he had spent Saturday and Sunday with the dentist, preceding the discovery of the body, in particular thanks to testimonies and statements of mobile telephone, "indicated Mr. Coutin.

Investigators also found that objects belonging to the victim, including a car, were sold on the Internet the day before the body was discovered.
