A serial thief at the meat counter? After a woman was caught stealing from a shop in Söcking, the police investigated the suspicion.
Söcking - a 61-year-old wanted to take meat products worth 53 euros to a supermarket in Söcking on Wednesday last week - possibly not for the first time.
According to the police, the woman had the larger package packed at the meat counter and then headed for the till. “Since large quantities of meat products from the same market have been stolen several times in the past, the seller informed her colleague at the checkout and asked for special attention. With this presumption it was spot on, ”says the police report. In fact, the woman paid only a few goods and wanted to leave, but was stopped by the store manager.
Further investigations must show whether the woman is also responsible for the other thefts.
