The Kelly Family played in front of a sold-out Olympic hall on Sunday - technically perfect and with a lot of love for their fans. Our criticism:

Based on the waving flags, delegations from all over Europe were sent to Munich to round off the Kelly Family tour. The path of the fans, in advance, was worth it. It's been a very nice evening, even if the united Kelly mockers don't believe it.
In retrospect, the malice towards the Kelly Family is not entirely understandable. Well, you don't have to like the music, just as you don't have to like the music of Rammstein or Müller-Westernhagen and yet you can recognize the quality of the craftsmanship.
Kelly Family in Munich: You can sing, master your instruments
And the Kelly siblings master the craft without question. They are professional service providers who take their job and the public seriously. They master their instruments, can sing and know how to move on stage.
They start their work in the sold-out Olympiahalle in a family- friendly manner at 7.30 p.m. and, as announced, initially offer almost the entire album "Over the Hump" , with which the family achieved its major breakthrough a quarter of a century ago. The songs survived the time well, because they were never fashion-oriented anyway, but should always have a timeless appeal in their folkloric appearance. The euphoria triggered by the first classics may be even greater than it was then - nostalgia is a reliable emotion enhancer.
There are only a few entertainers in this country who are as savvy as the Kelly rascals. After the break, people turn up shamelessly: hits, lots of confetti, a good mood, a little bit of a perfect world and sometimes even more dashing tones: something for everyone, something for the money. At the time of going to press at 10 p.m. was not yet over.
